The 11th annual SET Plan Conference will take place on 20-21 November 2018 in Vienna. It will be held under the auspices of the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the EU.

The conference will focus on the Energy Transition in the EU by discussing its European and international dimensions, such as the State of the Energy Union, Mission Innovation and External Dimensions as well as financial effects and future prospects. Policy-makers and representatives from business, science and innovation, civil society and regional and local governments will offer their views and discuss solutions in the Plenary Sessions.

To deepen the debate on the SET-Plan´s key actions, four Panels will be held concerning the following topics:
– Smart Energy Systems, Flexibility and Storage
– Consumers & Digitalisation of the Energy System
– Energy Efficient Buildings & Smart Cities
– Competitive and Energy Efficient Industry

To get to know the City of Vienna and some of its projects, you are invited to join us for any of our interesting on-site excursions on Monday 19th of November. Participants are also invited to an evening reception by the Mayor of Vienna on Tuesday, 20th of November.
